Порты проброшены через Ngrok, но ошибка io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information: появляется и в Hamachi.
Как исправить эту ошибку?

Попробуйте через аккаунты ely.by: с версий выше 1.7.5 начала проводится проверка на лицензию. ely.by её подделывает (проверку) и всё нормально становится.
Кстати, если играешь через Hamachi, то порты настраивать не нужно.

Мне помогло изменение параметра в server.properties.
Я изменил network-compression-threshold=256 на network-compression-threshold=512.
